My new summer workshop, Kidding Around, is now open for registration at Big Picture Scrapbooking!
I am way excited about this class, because it's the first time BPS has ever offered a class for kids. The idea had been knocking around in the "someday" section of my mind for a while, and at CHA last January I mentioned it out loud for the first time to Stacy and Kayce. At the time I was still in the middle of finishing up the content for Everyday Adventures, so it went onto the back burner until I got an email from Stacy, basically saying if I wanted to do it in time for this summer I needed to get rolling on it right away.
So I literally jumped from finishing Everyday Adventures to starting Kidding Around with one day in between. (Trust me, there are worse things than having too many fun classes to be working on!) And now I am thrilled to be able to reach a whole new audience of young scrapbookers (scrap-ettes? scrap-lings?) AND their super fun grownups.
Go check it out! I hope you and your kiddos (or nieces, nephews, grandkids, godchildren, family friends, neighbor kids, daycare group, or any other pint-sized paper lover you can legally get your hands on) will join me (and my kids, of course). There are oodles fun activities for the young ones, plus some common-sense tips and page prompts for the grownups. It's going to be buckets of fun for everyone!

My girls, ages 9 & 7 and I are excited about this. My oldest knows that I do BPS classes and is excited to do one for HER!

I'm just curious....I have a 10 yr old girl, will this be appropriate content for her? Or is it based towards preschool/primary (K-3rd) graders? Will she find the adventures, adventurous at this age (10, entering 5th grade)?
thanks Tami
