I am still working on unpacking and sorting through the two tote bags full of catalogs and stuff I collected at CHA Winter. Stay tuned...a full report with trends & favorites will be coming this weekend.
And speaking of unpacking, the first promo email went out during CHA for my latest Self-Paced Project at Big Picture Scrapbooking - Unpack Your Vacation Memories.
This was a super fun class to put together. If you're looking for a clever solution for narrowing down and showcasing your favorite vacation photos, go check it out. Scrapbooking your vacation photos in a suitcase is not only different and fun, it's a definite conversation-starter!
To celebrate the "official release" of the class, I've decided to do a giveaway. Leave me a comment and let me know what type of vacation photos you have waiting to be scrapbooked, and on Monday afternoon I will choose one lucky winner to receive a medium suitcase in red, just like the one I used in one of my bonus class projects. I'll even pack it with a few fun goodies. ;)
Edited with a winner! I put all the names into the little red suitcase, and had Taite pick one...and the suitcase o' fun goes to... TamiV! I'm planning ahead with this class and would love to create an album for a trip my son is taking this summer with his Nana to Washington D.C. I think that little red suitcase would be adorable with the new Girl's Paperie "On Holiday" line. It would be great to have the project done before he even leaves on the trip so I can just pop in the photos! I especially love that I can store trinkets in there too! Feeling super inspired right now! Congratulations, Tami! I love the idea of making it ahead of time, and I agree that the new Girl's Paperie "On Holiday" line would look fabulous! I will be emailing you for your snail mail address. ![]()

I have photos from a Disney vacation with my husband's brother's family back in 2006 - cousins; Animal Kingdom Lodge; and four days of parks to weed through. I'm exhausted just thinking about it!

Let's see I have several vacations I have not scrapped (Lake Tahoe, 1999, 2000, oh and of course "Hawaii" 2009) Which are filed in my photo binders. :)
Great seeing you at CHA!

I have yet to scrapbook the vacation we took to California WAAAAAAAAAAAAY back in 2001! We went to Lego Land, The Wild Animal Park, The San Diego Zoo and Sea World! I should really get on that! ;)

I still have all the photos and souveniers from an Alaskan cruise last year. Believe it or not it was a scrapbooking cruise too! Love the idea of using a suitcase.

The most recent one would be our ski vacation in end of December 2009. And then there are a few more older ones. But I sure like to get this recent done. Still deciding if I should scrap the paper and glue way or made one of those digital book. Hmmmm.......

way too many photos waiting to be scrapped. Our last vacation with the kids and the grandparents though would be awesome to get scrapped before we go again (hopefully this summer after the a new job starts, please GOD!) anyways... thanks for the chance.

I have a beach vacation that I took last fall with my mom and my siblings that I really want to scrapbook. It's by no means that only vacation that I haven't scrapbooked yet, but by far one of the ones I want to document the most!

All my vacation photos need to be scrapped! I just stick vacation photos in photo albums b/c there are too many photos from each trip and I get overwhelmed by the size of the project. Thanks for the chance to win a much needed class!

I took my son to visit Sesame Place in PA last summer, which wasn't really a vacation for me but it was for him! I've already made him a personalized mini book of the trip, but I haven't scrapped the trip in my usual 12 x 12 album.
