Here are a couple
more of my recent sewing projects. Taite is wearing one of the outfits I made
over the summer. It was worth the hours I spent sewing all those strips
together…she barely takes it off. Also, check out her spontaneous pose. Think
she’s ready for America's Next Top Model yet? Haha.
This is a set I made last week for a silent auction to benefit a local musical theatre group.
I also made a really cute one in pink and green for the elementary school auction…but I forgot to take a pic. Oops! Luckily a friend of mine was the highest bidder, so I might get another chance at a photo op. Until then, you’ll just have to take my word that it was completely adorable. ;)
On my “to sew” list: my nieces’ Christmas presents – skirt sets in their favorite colors. I’m already working on one in between scrapbooking projects.
ETA: All the cute skirts I have been making are from Pink Fig patterns (the Girly Skirt and Girly Stripwork Skirt), in case you're wondering. They really are easy enough for the "beginnerest" of beginners!
