It was a gray day
here in SoCal, with another 4 gray days in the forecast. It’s probably a very
good thing that I live in a generally sunny place, because gray seems to suck
the energy right out of me and make me want to do nothing but curl up with a book or a movie
and something hot to drink.
Unfortunately, my
current to-do list does not leave a lot of room for reading and movie watching,
so I resorted to my folder of bookmarked color favorites for a little online chromatherapy.
Nothing like lots
of color on your calendar to inspire you into action.

How cheery would this set of butterfly prints look grouped together on a wall?
Polka dots are always
good for brightening things up. Love these cute bobby pins from Anthropologie.
And this cabinet I saw on Flickr…I’m seriously thinking I need to line the backs of the shelves in my loft like this.
A rainbow stack
of colanders from Target.
Fab new Modern Flora fabrics by Jessica Jones, available at j caroline creative.
And last, but not least…a little bit of chromaliciousness from the incomparable Ikea.

i want one of those, and one of those... oh, and TWO of those!
:)
LOVE those bobby pins. Usually, Anthro stuff is too expensive for me and my kid-friendly ways. But I think even I could swing for some polka-dot bobby pins. :)

This is excellent news, we old hands have worried about this
important site for years, I recorded it in the 1960's.

Likewise, a lot of creatives are going freelance because agencies don't want to pay account handlers / planners / project managers. Speaking to the person who does the work is appealing, hence the increasing number of tiny, new creative shops.
